Accommodation

Even the most discerning traveller will be captivated by the picturesque accommodations provided by the Over Water Bungalows and Suites. Connected to the main island by a private wooden jetty, these timber rooms are reminiscent of traditional Maldivian houseboats on stilts and are beautifully appointed, providing private decks with direct access into the crystal clear lagoon.

The Island Village houses a selection of thatched Island Village Guest Rooms and Beach Cottages nestled amongst the bright bougainvillea and tropical gardens. Located either directly on, or fronting the beach, all accommodations are in single storey buildings and compliment the local environment.

Island Village

• Island Village Guest Rooms
Traditionally furnished, rooms located close to the beach. All rooms have individually controlled air-conditioning, heated desalinated water, outside garden shower, IDD telephone, mini bar and private terrace. (maximum 3 persons) Larger family rooms, with an additional sleeping area, are available upon request.

• Beach Cottages
Spacious and uniquely designed superior accommodation, with direct access to your own private beach. All accommodations have individually controlled air-conditioning, heated desalinated water, outside garden shower, IDD telephone, private terrace and mini bar and refrigerator facilities. (maximum 3 persons)

Water Village

• Over Water Bungalow
Designed in the style of a traditional Maldivian houseboat on stilts, rooms are situated over the lagoon and are beautifully appointed. Each Bungalow has a private decked terrace with steps directly into the lagoon, heated desalinated water, bath and shower, individually controlled air-conditioning, in-room safe, hair dryer, mini bar, IDD telephone, refrigerator and television. (maximum 3 persons)

• Over Water Suite
These double sized bungalows feature all the facilities of the Over Water Bungalows with the addition of a living room or second bedroom, plus a larger private decked terrace. (maximum 4 persons)

Dining

• Vilu Mathi - A more formal dining experience where guests staying in our Water Village can enjoy their breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overlooking the lagoon diners will have a perfect view off the large abundance of sea life that visits on a daily basis. Guests staying on the island can also reserve a table at a small supplement for all meals.

• Kaana Kotari - Nestled amongst the gardens of the Island Village is the more casual Kaana Kotari restaurant. Guests staying on the island will enjoy their breakfast, lunch and dinner experience in a relaxing and friendly environment.

• Sunset Restaurant & Lounge - Overlooking the beach and Indian Ocean the a la carte restaurant comes to a life at night with the aroma of exotic Thai cuisine, prepared by our Thai chefs, as well as seafood and grill offerings. Customers throughout the resort can book their special occasion or celebratory meal, or simply come and experience highest levels of cuisine for which the Sunset Restaurant and Lounge is renowned.

• Light meals - Guests throughout the resort can choose from a selection of freshly made sandwiches, traditional pizza’s, crisp salads, tasty snacks and home made Maldivian ice-creams in our Vilu Bar & Cafe and Sunset Lounge.

• Sandhuravi - Reserve your own private moonlit dinner for two on the beach, with only the sound of the ocean and the stars above to accompany you through this romantic evening.

• Dhumashi Grill - A weekly barbecue that all guests can experience with tables set for you on the beach.

• Pizza Corner - Guests are tempted by the aroma of fresh oven baked Pizza in our Pizza Corner, located in the Nagili Bar.

During the day you can choose from four outlets to sip a cool fresh fruit juice or simply relax in the company of friends. As the sun sets over the ocean Diva Resort & Spa comes to life with an exciting mix of entertainment to suit all tastes. Whether you prefer to sit quietly over a tropical cocktail and meet new friends or dance the night away to light international music, or join in our numerous themed nights... ‘the choice is yours’.

• Beach Club – Open daily, our beach side café will refresh you as you soak up the sun or exert yourself with the comprehensive range of water sports that are available.

• Vilu Bar & Café – Open throughout the day, from your morning espresso to your nightcap, the Vilu Bar in the Water Village is a peaceful haven with a convivial atmosphere. The ideal meeting point for pre dinner cocktails during our daily happy hour.

• Sunset lounge – As its name suggests this is ‘the’ place to be as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean. Enjoy cocktails and drinks all day long, as well as aperitifs and liquors when dining in the Sunset Restaurant.

• Nagili Bar – If you want to be in the thick of the action, the Nagili Bar is the perfect night spot! Located on the island, live bands play regularly before the newest mixes take over at the Saturday night disco. Nagili Bar is also the place to meet for activity nights, such as crab racing and traditional Boduberu. You will always meet great company and can share a game of pool or table football.
