Royal Island, known locally as Horubadhoo, is the latest addition to Villa Hotels group of resorts. A house reef, with all the natural richness of the blue waters of the Indian Ocean, beautifully surrounds the island. Location
Royal Island is located in Baa Atoll (click to view Map of Maldives). The Island itself is 800m in length and 220m in width. It takes 30 minutes to reach Royal Island by air and 2 1/2 hours by speedboat from the Male' International Airport.

Royal Island is blessed with her own house reef, which is just a few metres away from the beach. The diving centre is a first class PADI standard and will facilitate every visitor to explore some of the undisturbed dive locations in the Maldives.

Excursions and Island Hopping
Excursions and visits to local and uninhabited island in Baa Atoll will be arranged on a regular basis, so as to give the visitor a glimpse into the Maldivian way of life, in the fishing islands.
